An Introduction to Tajik Nationality
With a population of 41,000, Tajik live in the Tashkorgan Tajik Autonomous County in Xinjing Uygur Autonomous Region. They engage in livestock industry and agriculture. The Tajik language belongs to the Pamir branch of the Iranian group of the Indo-European language family. Id al-fitr (Fast-breaking), Corban and mawlid al-Nabi are most celebrated. Tajik people believe in Islam.
