An Introduction to She Nationality
With a population of 709,600, She 1ive mainly in Jingning She Autonomous County in Zhejiang province and in the mountainous areas in the provinces of Fujian, Zhejiang，Jiangxi，Guangdong and Anhui. She engaged in cultivation of rice, tea, sugar cane, ramie and mushrooms. Their language belongs to the Miao-Yao group of the Chinese-Tibetan language family. Principal festivals of She are San-Yue-San (Third day of the March in lunatic calendar) and the Rhyme Fair. She people believe in the ancestor worship.
