The Tujia Village

 

  An Introduction to Tujia Nationality
    With a population of 8,028,100, Tujia live in the Xiangxi Tujia-Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hunan Province, the Enshi Tujia-Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hubei Province and other places in Sichuan Province. They engage in agriculture, and good at growing tung tree and tea-oil tree. Their language belongs to the Tibetan-Burmese group of the Chinese-Tibetan language family. Sheba and Gannian are major festivals to be celebrated. Tujia people believe in a plethora of gods and worship of ancestors.
