The Cultural Heritage

Traditional art and craft of the Chinese ethnic groups has developed for 5,000 years. It has being now challenged by the modernization process. The China Ethnic Museum (the Chinese Ethnic Culture Park) devoted itself to the collection of ethnic art and craft, the demonstration of ethnic handcraft art. The effort is made to reveal the culture treasuries retained, to protect the relics of ethnic heritage, to promote the ethnic areas, and to the development of economy of the ethnic areas and the nationalities.
